Harris-Walz Camo Hat Sold Out in Minutes – Here’s Where You Can Find More

It seems like Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are coming for the MAGA hat, and they’re following Chappell Roan’s lead. In a similar way to Roan’s bestselling book The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess merchandise, the newly minted presidential ticket just released a camo hat with yellow “Harris Walz” text across the front.
The camo hat sold out of its initial 3,000 units in just 30 minutes, Teen Vogue reports. Harris’ official hat is still available for preorder on his campaign website, but it won’t ship until at least Oct. 14. However, supporters can purchase fan-made versions of the hat on Beebeos Store for $24.95.
This is the sequence of events: On Tuesday, Harris shared a video of Walz agreeing to join her as her vice president in the 2024 race. In the footage, the Minnesota governor, aged 60, can be seen lounging in his living room donning a classic Midwest look: a black tee, khaki pants, white sneakers, and a camouflage cap. His attire sparked conversation, particularly among Chappell Roan followers who noted the resemblance between the artist’s famous “Midwest Princess” hat and Walz’s.
It wasn’t long before the Harris and Walz campaign released its camo hat, which is similar to the Midwest Princess lid. Even Roan herself commented on the now-viral hat, tweeting “is this real?” in response to another tweet.
The Harris-Walz campaign has not officially confirmed whether the hat is a reference to Roan, but they do already have a track record of embracing artists’ iconography. Several weeks ago, after Charlie XCX tweeted “Kalmala IS brat,” the VP’s official Twitter page changed its background image to a Brat-green hue. Fans of Harris and Charlie quickly created Brat-themed Harris merch.
